Academy Overview

This year our camp....

Where

The weekend academies are held two Saturdays each month from November to June from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm located at 36th & Filbert Streets (rear entrance off of 37th street).  This activity is being co-sponsored by The School District of Philadelphia's Office of School Climate and Safety.

Eligibility

  • Young men & women from the Philadelphia Public or Parochial School Districts (including Charter Schools) currently in either the 9th to 11th grades (NOTE:  A limited number of students from outside of the Philadelphia School District may also receive consideration).
  • Students interested in pursuing a career in either professional athletics, music/entertainment, the cultural and acting/performing arts.
  • Students who enjoy actively participating in competitive sports

 Requirements

  1. Complete Application & Release/Waiver Form [download]
  2. Recommendation from either a Program Director or High School Guidance Counselor [download]
  3. Copy of Current High School Transcript
  4. Signed  Student and Parental Agreement Form [download]
  5. Pre-Register Online For Upcoming Events [online form -must have a valid email address]
 
ALL OF THESE FORMS MUST BE SENT TO PRO SPORTS COMMUNITY CONSULTANTS ON THE ORIENTATION, THURSDAY OCTOBER 16, 2008 AT UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL (REAR ENTRANCE) FROM 9AM TO 12:30PM
